Time was short and my truck was in the process of being sold privately, so I went out early for a last paddle using the 2009 Toyota Tacoma to bring the kayak for a paddle on Edith Lake.    There was no wind in town, but it was windy at the launch at Edith Lake.    I headed into the wind, making slow progress for a while, before turning downwind for a loop around the lake.

The back bays were more protected and the wind abated a bit as I contoured around the shoreline of the lake.

This was the 17th time out kayaking in 2025 and the third time at Edith Lake.   I will be rotating to other lakes to come, but this time with a newer truck with a new rack to transport the kayak into lakes in the hills.
