Paul Lake East
It rained overnight, but started to clear by morning. I drove to Paul Lake and parked at the beach area below the campground. There were grey skies, but the winds were light. I launched my kayak and paddled east to the end of the lake.
A hatch was on so fish were rising and swallows were swooping. At the marshy east end of the lake loons were fishing.
I paddled back along the other shoreline. Gibraltar Rock was ahead, to the west. There were no other boats on the lake for this 4.9 km paddle.
This was the 21st day of paddling in 2025. The predicted final tally for this year will be around 75.
