We hiked from Overlander Beach, and out to the Thompson River, then followed it up to the Confluence of the South Thompson and the North Thompson Rivers.

The South Thompson was ice free, but much of the North Thompson had icy shorelines and icy bays where the water moved slowly.

The beach extended north for a ways, coming to a larger icy bay.      We rounded the bay and continued up the beach.    We returned on the Rivers Trail to the start.S
