I hiked the rail trail that was the KVR branch route from Brodie to Merritt.    This section was burned in the fire.    It was also devastated by the river flooding that hit Merritt.    It is now impassable, but I hiked/scrambled  a good section of the route.    Any through route will require a river crossing since at least one of the trusses burned.   A post to follow….
