Boyle Point Provincial Park lies at the southeast end of Denman Island, between Baynes Sound and Georgia Strait. Forest trails wind through the park, providing some good hikes. On an April morning we hiked out to the south end of the park where we had views looking south toward the southern Gulf Islands.
Right below the sea cliffs is an islet that can be hiked to in low tide. We would down a steep trail to the shoreline and worked our way out to Eagle Rock.
From Eagle Island, Chrome Island Lighthouse lies 0.5 km southwest.
Our group hiked other trails in the park, enjoying the forest and the views.
We spent some time down near Eagle Island enjoying the wildflowers, the tidal pools, and the rock features. A few images are shared here. Click an image for a lightbox view.
