Usually I prefer to read the book before seeing the movie or series. In this case we watched the series on Amazon Prime, based on the book by Liane Moriarty. She has also written some popular books like Big Little Lies, What Alice Forgot, and Truly Madly Guilty. We didn’t know what to expect but the preview looked interesting so we watched the series.
About halfway through I started to have reservations. By the end, I felt disappointed, perhaps even swindled. This will be a book I will not read and with that negative experience, I may never read one of her books.
The series gets a [usr 1.5] rating. The book is probably better, but I will never know.
