Shoulder Season Outings

Snow has started to fall in higher locations and overnight lows are starting to be below 0ºC, so lower elevation hikes will be on dirt trails, but upper areas will be on snow. Kayaking may be done for the year, but if temperatures rise and winds are light, I may still get out for Day 89.
On wet and cold days, the outings will be shorter, but if the conditions are ok I will continue to vary the routes each time. If I go to higher trailheads, I will carry spikes, but probably won’t need them yet.
Some of the many routes to do could include Batchelor Hills, Dewdrop Range, Jag Hill, Sunrise Mountain, Adams River, Edith Hills, Jacko Hills, Greenstone Trails, Brussels Lake, Frederick Bluffs, Mt. Embleton, Orchard Lake, Lyons Lake, Heffley Lake, and more…
Events can be group events (through Kamloops Hiking Club), small group outings (organized by contacting by email or text), or solo events.
See you on the trails.
