A morning hike on the Monck Park Trails - 5-6 km
Cool and possibly wet days for hiking, paddling, and outdoor activities. Tues. - morning paddle or hike is likely (wind forecasts needed). Wed. - a wet day so it will be a short outing (tbd) Thurs. - another wet day
If snowy, then spikes, but a hike day in the hills, probably Ironmask Hills
Snow has started to fall in higher locations and overnight lows are starting to be below 0ºC, so lower elevation hikes will be on dirt trails, but upper areas will be on snow. Winter hikes, spike hikes, or possibly snowshoeing, with locations chosen 24-36 hours out, taking into account driving conditions, hiking conditions, and weather.
A seasonal hike on Wednesday mornings of 75 - 90 minutes, with a different location each time. Last year it was the Paul Lake Trail.
Winter hikes with or without spikes and snowshoeing will start soon. Various locations, daily.
