Dogwood Marshes to McConnell Lake

We snowshoed through the Dogwood Marshes up and up to McConnell Lake, looping past the Fish and Wildlife Cabin and back down, looping through the Marshes back to the start.   This was a mild day with the sun peaking through the clouds.    This route is now flagged and signed and makes a good winter snowshoeing route for all.

Lodgepole Lake Loops

On a mild winter day I parked at Lodgepole Lake on the Chuwhels Mountain Road and started snowshoeing up the Chuwhels Mountain Road, then I turned onto the large Walloper Creek Pond.   I did a double loop route , both near the start.
