A series of 3 shorter hikes at Sunnybrae and in Herald Provincial Park
Kamloops > Lytton > Reaction Ferry > trailhead > hike out and back > return home (a longish day). I have done this hike a number of times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UL6YoXO4NvI
A continuation from the Stein River hike with an overnight stay in between. Hike the Spirit Caves above Yale, lunch in Hope, then a second hike on the way back on the Coquihalla.
A hike to the top of Sugarloaf in the Lundbom Grasslands with a loop route back. This was a group hike, but it was going to be too noisy for me, so its now a solo hike. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at4zSkd2uLw
A hike in the upper grasslands to Clay Lake, then through mixed forest to the slopes of Clapperton Ridge and back through the aspens. An annual hike, but usually done 2-3 times each year.
Scotch Creek > Copper Island kayak > hike the island trail > kayak back. A scheduled group event. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSDnMLsSbhM
A hike in Wells Gray Park. 9 am start. Drive to Clearwater. Hike the trail to the two falls and back (5 km). A scenic hike, but a steep uphill back to the start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW1noRUEIpk
A loop route on Buse Hill https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D85XSgFOaDw
Hike the trail on the Clearwater Lake Road - Bailey's Chute, Marcus Falls, Myanth Falls, and West Lake. Possibly hike a second trail on the way back - Alice Lake Loop? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Npg2UeUpqcc
A hike up Mara Mountain from Pruden Pass, a yearly event https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhN3Q7TkBCk
A hike to the lava bluffs on Opax Mountain. Several routes are possible. Scenic, a good climb, and rugged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ED7lTbyWDAU
A scenic route starting from the Red Plateau FSR on double tracks and single tracks with a loop or partial route.
See you on the trails.
