On a sunny weekend, on January 26th, we stomped from Dogwood Marshes up to McConnell Lake.    This was the same route we had done two weeks earlier, but this time we wanted to bring family members for an interesting snowshoe route.   The trail was stomped in, making for a speedy time through the marshes and then up the hill through the trees.

The sun was bright and blue skies greeted us at McConnell Lake.

We did a loop at either end of the hike, finishing by stomping through Dogwood Marshes.

This has been an excellent winter for snowshoeing and we are getting out about 5 days a week at this time.
