I snowshoed in the Bush Lake Trails area, a loop route around Bush Hill, a good stomp on established tracks, but also a shortcut (breaking trail),  and a single track through a cluttered hillside (deadfall mostly).   This was a 4 km outing on a sunny morning. Dogwood Marshes to McConnell Lake

We snowshoed through the Dogwood Marshes up and up to McConnell Lake, looping past the Fish and Wildlife Cabin and back down, looping through the Marshes back to the start.   This was a mild day with the sun peaking through the clouds.    This route is now flagged and signed and makes a good winter snowshoeing route for all.
