Kayaking McConnell Lake

On a cool and breezy weekday morning I drove up the Lac le Jeune Road to McConnell Lake Provincial Park.  I was the first boat on the lake as I launched my kayak to paddle around the lakeshore.    I paddled once in a clockwise direction, then reversed it for the second loop for a 5.1 km route.   One fishing boat was on the lake by … Continue reading →
